Bioshares Biotech Summit 2021 .... New Dates (1 & 2 December 2021)
It’s time to gather together for the 16th Bioshares Biotech Summit. For the first time, Bioshares will be supporting the Regions and heading to Albury, NSW on 1 & 2 December 2021. This is the 16th Summit, proudly organised by Bioshares, Australia's leading independent biotech investment publication.
The official Summit start will be 10am on Wednesday 1 December, with the Cocktail Reception on the Tuesday night 30 November at The Albury Club.

Registration & Program

Registration for the Summit is now open (click here). A conference program will be available in early October. It will feature an intense two-day program, with approximately 25 speakers and excellent networking opportunities within the biotech industry and investment sectors.

Attendees
The Summit usually attracts between 150-175 attendees – a size where everyone has the opportunity to meet. Summit participants include biotech CEOs, fund managers and retail investors, with the last Summit hosting over 60 biotech companies. The Summit is also relevant for many of the supporting industry groups, such as technology transfer specialists and pharmaceutical licensing executives.

CEO Dinner
The CEO Dinner will be held on Wednesday 1 December. At the last Summit around 40 biotech CEOs attended the dinner, which has become a popular feature of this event and a unique opportunity for CEOs to network and share learnings from building global healthcare businesses. The dinner will be held at La Maison, Wodonga (Asian fusion & Middle Eastern style).

Wednesday Night Drinks (informal)
Informal drinks will be held at The Bended Elbow (40 Dean Street Albury) on the Wednesday night 1 December.

Location and Getting to Albury
The Summit will be held at the Albury Entertainment Centre. Albury has been chosen as the location for this year's event because it is easily accessible by car from Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide, or by plane with direct flights from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

COVID-19
The current ongoing coronavirus pandemic is presenting challenges for large events such as the Bioshares Biotech Summit. Accommodation at the hotels recommended below will offer full refunds for late cancellations due to any movement restrictions imposed by governments. If the Summit cannot be held on the planned dates due to movement restrictions, a new date will be set for the next available opportunity.

Cocktail Reception & Conference Dinner
The Cocktail Reception will be held on the Tuesday night 30 November at the Albury Club, a short walk from the conference venue. The closing dinner will be held on the Thursday evening 2 December within the Albury Entertainment Centre.
